Lawyer Yang graduated from Nankai University, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application and a Master's degree in Law. From 2004 to 2014, he served as a deputy researcher, training mentor for star examiners, star examiner, and special expert of the China (Northwest Region) Patent Infringement Determination Consultation Center at the former Patent Reexamination Board of the China National Intellectual Property Administration. He handled nearly 500 patent invalidation cases and represented clients in nearly 1,000 litigation cases. During this period, Lawyer Yang exchanged work with the Civil Tribunal No. 3 of the Supreme People's Court and participated in several cases that were recognized as typical intellectual property cases by the Supreme People's Court in 2012.

 • Represented a client in an ETC patent invalidity case, successfully declaring the opposing party's patent rights completely invalid (with a civil litigation claim amount of 100 million yuan)

 • Represented multiple well-known domestic mobile communication companies in patent invalidity cases, successfully declaring multiple SEP patents invalid

 • Represented a well-known large Internet company in a second patent invalidation case, successfully declaring both of the opposing party's patents invalid after the client's initial attempt failed

 • Represented a well-known payment technology company in a patent invalidity case, successfully declaring all of the opposing party's QR code patents invalid

 • Represented a client in a retrial case of patent infringement administrative litigation involving a large coal chemical enterprise. Despite losing at the administrative stage, as well as in the first and second instance administrative trials, the client successfully won the retrial (this case was rated as one of the top ten intellectual property cases by the Supreme People's Court in 2017)

 • Represented a company in Zhongshan City in a second patent invalidation case. Despite the client's initial failure in the invalidation process and the civil case being awarded compensation and entering the second-instance procedure, we successfully declared all of the opposing party's patents invalid before the second-instance judgment in the civil case

 • The patent invalidation case filed by the agent in the name of Strawman successfully declared dozens of patents invalid

 • Participated in handling multiple patent infringement and patent invalidation disputes between two well-known Internet plus enterprises (with a total subject matter value of nearly 200 million yuan)
